Drawing /painting is really about seeing and connecting. Connecting with the person/animal your drawing, the land you're painting or with your imagination (inner self). When I create I’m in a peaceful centered place - because I feel this connection.
Although I enjoy learning about art ( I have a BA in Art History from Stanford University) I have the most fun when I am creating art and sharing it with others.
Over the years I have continued to explore by taking classes in design, illustration, print making, watercolor, figure drawing, pleine air painting and graduate classes in art education. On the social front I have enjoyed participating in italian street painting fairs, art fairs, team mural projects and pro-bono work for non profits.
My newest focus is on pet portraits- I was the featured artist at the Silicon Valley Humane Society's annual "FUR BALL" fund raiser - a black tie event where dogs are invited. I sketched a lot of dogs --some in "black tie" outfits!

My pricing is based on the guidelines in the industry standard Graphic Artists Guild Handbook: Pricing & Ethical Guidelines. The San Francisco Bay Area is home but I am in Los Angeles on a regular basis. I also work well remotely- I am reliable, flexible, and respect deadlines.
